While the Valley is still blessed with cooler weather, early spring is when you can spot the spectacular bright yellow blooms of the iconic golden wattle. Very recently much of our area has been enjoying some very heavy rain, which caused a bit of minor flooding. I was instantly inspired to capture the bright foliage reflecting in all the large temporary puddles and ponds. I absolutely adore Golden Wattle for its simplicity and joyous vibes.

As always, I have played around with colour, exaggerating the tones in the environment to create a whimsical and vivid representation of my surroundings.

Note: International shipping is available however some conditions apply. I can not ship framed artworks overseas as they are too heavy and expensive. Small artworks will be shipped on the stretcher bars. However, artworks over 60cm in length will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled up in a tube. You will then need to have the artwork stretched again and framed.
